Some colored materials such as ties are usually not created from natural substances. Typically most of the dyes added to the fabrics are toxic for humans, animals and the whole environment.

At this stage, there have been no standard procedures on the amount of dye to be applied in the manufacturing developments, which means even if the label stated that it has minimal impact, it does not necessary mean that it is safe for the surroundings. Many professionals recommend that consumers should still be careful when buying products that are claimed to be organic.
