Bling Bling Men’s Wool Suits
The specialty about wool is that men look smart in wool suits. Among the many other available materials. Wool is the perfect choice for making suits for men. Most people think that wool is available only from the sheep that provide the raw material. However, it is available from camels and even the llama.
Even though wool may be more expensive to produce, the costs to purchase may be higher, and efforts to maintain may be more work than some synthetics, wool is still the number one choice of that portion of the public that is fashion conscious and particular. Suits made from wool not only look fabulous, but they are warm and comfortable.
Wool is graded depending upon the quality and the best wool is that which arrives with the thinnest strands and no imperfections. Some wools have been re-cycled and although less expensive, they are not of the same quality as virgin wool which is being used for the first time.
Sometimes wool is mixed with polyester to provide other qualities, such as ease of care, or less expense, but wool, on its own, still is the number one fabric choice in the men’s suit industry. The hand, or feel, of the suit can vary, depending on which wool is used, but wool is still superior to other fabrics for men’s suits.
Men’s suits made from slightly heavier wools are fantastic to wear in the winter or seemingly permanent cold climates due to their ability to maintain heat. Air becomes trapped in the fibers which the body can heat up, providing heat insulation much like the thin layer of water in a diver’s wetsuit. It will also help in wet weather due to its tremendous ability to hold a lot of water before soaking through.
It will maintain its shape and resist creasing. A virgin wool suit can sometimes be perfect after removing from a flight holdall. However, care must be taken if ironing. Steam will soften the wool and allow it to be pressed into shape, however a dry iron will damage the protein fibers irreparably.
Wool remains strong when it is in dry condition. Care should be taken to keep the wool always in dry condition because it loses its strength when wet. Always dry it in shade but not under direct sunlight.
Overall, wool suits offer us the most by way of choice, cost and longevity. Every man should have at least one in his closet.
